History

Kobu Pearls (de Koning van Buul) is a family business well into it's third generation.Established in 1947, the company was one of the first Dutch impoters of fine quality cultivated/akoya pearls from Japan.

Since the start, Kobu has moved with the times and kept it's finger on the pulse of developments in pearl cultivation, over the intervening years, and to the present day. We can boast a collection encompassing and mirroring the diversity of tasteful modern pearl jewellery, and more besides.
